Bob Mould returns to Philadelphia on April 26th, headlining a mighty double bill that includes punk rock icon Ted Leo. Mould, former frontman of Sugar and the legendary Hüsker Dü, has shaped an equally formidable solo career. He has released three albums since late 2012, with 2016’s Patch the Sky continuing his resurgence. Mould’s killer live crew includes Jason Narducy on bass, and Jon Wurster of Superchunk, the Mountain Goats, and the Best Show on drums. Patch the Sky is the latest in a line of records that proves that Mould still rocks, and certainly can’t be missed.
Ted Leo opens the show. He’s known for leading his punk rock group the Pharmacists, and more recently his work with Aimee Mann. He’ll play solo, which highlights his magnificent songwriting.
Tickets are available here for Bob Mould and Ted Leo (solo) at Underground Arts on Tuesday, April 26th at 8PM. The show is 21+.
